A Map of Fearann and its surrounding countries

Set in a captivating fantasy world, the series follows a diverse array of significant characters, primarily women, as it chronicles their journeys and the profound impact they have had on history and humanity. Through the inclusion of their perspectives in parts, the narrative serves as a reminder that, despite being remembered as untouchable figures in the records of Fearann's history, they were ultimately human - facing struggles and challenges on their paths to success.
The Fearann Chronicles consists of a collection of sources and first-hand accounts of events in the country of Fearann, beginning in ca. 1280. It also includes documentation of events from lots of other countries through the centuries too, all collected and placed together carefully by the renowned historian Willow Dickens. The Chronicles are extremely important and revered assemblages of work, especially when wishing to find out information on the past and understanding it in correlation with present day Fearann. Dickens includes her own interpretations of the sources too, and suggests why some aspects are correct and true to history, but also why some may not be, taking into consideration who the accounts were written for and thinking about if that may have affected their authenticity.

1. The Memoirs of Katherine Allen
‘Why endure when you can reform?’
The Fearann Chronicles, assembled by the esteemed Lunian historian Willow Dickens, begins here with The Memoirs of Katherine Allen.
Remembered in history as the Phoenix bringer and one of the most ambitious, cunning and ruthless leaders, Katherine Allen was certainly a force to be reckoned with. Born the daughter of King Andrew the Wicked and his fourth wife, her path to the Fearann throne was no carefree endeavour.
After witnessing her mother’s brutal execution at the age of 7, and then fleeing Fearann in fear of her life by age 16, she learnt from experience that she had to be cruel and selfish to survive in the dark world around her.
The entire life of Queen Katherine and events surrounding her are intricately explored through a combination of firsthand accounts from those closest to her, historians' perspectives, and her own writings - all curated by Dickens. This narrative depicts her transformation from a quiet, reserved child into a confident and influential woman who crushed those around her, even her own family, in her relentless pursuit of legacy, revenge, and unlimited power.
